Your voice and participation in federal advocacy are imperative to the future of our movement. It’s time to solidify your plans and prepare to share the credit union advocacy message in our nation’s capital. The room block is officially open for the 2024 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), March 3 - 7, 2024 in Washington, D.C. 

To secure your room, please access the hotel room block information, provided below, and take action as soon as possible. In addition, it’s a good time to book flights and register for the GAC. Click here to register and learn more about the 2024 conference proceedings.

The GAC is one of the most important federal advocacy events of the year for our credit union movement, and although we’ve expanded our room block, it will fill up quickly.

REMINDER: Please only book the rooms needed to meet the needs of your credit union team, under the newly increased maximum booking allotment per group, as we want to ensure all our credit unions can have access to the room block for their target hotel.

The GoWest Credit Union Association block will include the following hotels:

• The Marriott Marquis Washington D.C. at a rate of $359 per night.

• The Grand Hyatt Washington at a rate of $324 per night.

• The Embassy Suites Hotel at a rate of $358 per night.

These rates apply for reserved nights between Saturday, March 2 and Thursday, March 7. Taxes and additional fees may apply for these properties.

To Secure Your Reservation, Follow These Instructions:

• Click on the unique link provided below and enter the password provided.

  Password: Rainier2024 (Password is case sensitive)

• Select the hotel you would like.

• Create a password for each reservation you are placing (if you are placing more than one), to secure credit card information.

• Select the arrival/departure dates you would like. The rates apply for reserved nights between Saturday, March 2 and Thursday, March 7.

• Enter payment information.

  • A major credit card is required for ALL reservations at the time of booking.

  • Credit cards will not be charged at the time of the reservation. 

• Credit unions will be able to book as individuals or groups (maximum 10 rooms per group).

Cancellation and Critical Dates:

• Any reservation canceled on or before Wednesday, December 20, 2023 will not be charged a cancellation fee.

• Any reservation canceled after Thursday, December 21, 2023, is subject to a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax per room canceled.

• All reservation changes and cancelations must be completed with the GAC housing bureau, by 4:30 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

• Any reservation change or cancellation requested after Wednesday, February 21, 2024 must be made directly with the hotel that has been reserved.
